About the SMARTer Network
The SMARTer Network was developed through a comprehensive two-year public engagement and planning process. This process combined an in-depth review of transit needs, propensity, and system opportunities with a careful analysis of existing conditions and available budgets. Market trends and how people actually use the current system were also studied to ensure a practical, forward-thinking design. The result is a thoughtfully crafted network shaped by data, community voices, and a clear vision for a more efficient and responsive transit future.
